| The research takes video media as the starting point and Mango TV as the research object,analyzes the ecological composition and ecological evolution of Mango TV from the perspective of media ecology,discusses the impact of resources and environment on the ecological evolution of video media and the sustainable development path of media ecological construction.This paper takes the "ecology" theory in media research as the incision,transitioning from ecology to media ecology,and from the ecology of video media to the research of media ecology in my country.Progressing layer by layer,and using r-K selection theory and niche theory as analysis tools,the ecological system architecture of video media is built.There are three ecological categories of video media,namely the ecology within video media,the ecology between video media,and the ecology between video media and the social environment.When discussing the composition of the video media ecosystem,it is divided into video ecology,content ecology and industrial ecology.The research object of this paper,Mango TV,was established in 2004 and is controlled by state-owned capital.It is the only online video platform under Hunan Radio and Television.Its predecessor was Jinying.com,a portal website under Hunan Satellite TV.When discussing the formation of the media ecology of Mango TV,the study analyzes the ecological environment of Mango TV from the r selection stage to the K selection stage,and the ecological composition of Mango TV.The development relationship between Hunan Satellite TV and Mango TV with two wings has been incorporated into the ecosystem of Mango TV,becoming part of the video ecosystem of Mango TV.In terms of content ecology,Mango TV has laid out a content matrix of "film and television drama +variety show",and cooperated with Hunan Satellite TV to build Mango Monsoon Theater,vigorously develop the film and television industry,import high-quality content resources into the Mango fan economy,and expand advertising space.Among them,variety shows are the core strategic resources of Mango TV.In terms of industrial ecology,Mango TV cooperates with Hunan Radio and Television in upstream content production in the form of cross-border cooperation,strengthens resource complementarity with China Mobile and other technical channels in the midstream,and develops the entire industrial ecological chain in the downstream operation level.Create a mango ecosystem.Mango TV has experienced an ecological evolution path from solo broadcast to self-made to expansion.The exclusive broadcast of Mango TV was from 2014 to 2015.The evolutionary motivation stemmed from the development of network channel ports by Hunan Radio and Television to resolve the copyright crisis.At this stage,Mango TV showed an open,shared and symbiotic ecological relationship with Hunan Satellite TV.It also reveals ecological disadvantages such as scattered and limited content resources and backward information transmission technology.The self-made evolution stage of Mango TV started in2016.Due to changes in the ecological environment,in order to optimize resources and upgrade the platform,Mango TV has created self-made variety shows and self-made dramas,showing strong content production capabilities and shaping the brand concept of "born youth".However,due to the large fluctuation of a single film and television resource,in order to achieve stable ecological development,Mango TV has developed multiple ecological niches to strengthen the mango ecosystem,and has entered the third stage of evolution-the expansion stage.Finally,this article looks forward to the intelligent media ecology of Mango TV,and analyzes how Mango TV can seize the opportunity of the 5G era to improve the ecological construction.Competition and coexistence are the eternal themes of the media ecology.The ecological composition of Mango TV integrates multiple factors such as capital,culture,politics,and industry to form the current ecological landscape. |
