| The 17 th to 18 th centuries coincided with the rise of East West trade,during which China’s foreign porcelain trade reached its peak.Driven by trade,the development of ceramic art in China,Japan,and Europe also reached its peak.At the same time,’Chinese style’ is highly sought after.The "Nanjing style",as a concentrated and condensed form of traditional Chinese landscape architecture culture,has formed a "Nanjing style" image on porcelain that combines diverse cultures and local characteristics.Its drawing techniques and overall style have been constantly changing,and have become popular worldwide with trade exchanges.Therefore,the "Nanjing style" as a typical landscape garden image during this period was numerous,and in the process of external communication and exchange,it was absorbed and innovated by Japan and Europe,resulting in new design forms,enriching the image system.Based on the exploration of the "Nanjing style" images on Chinese,Japanese,and European porcelain from the 17 th to 18 th centuries,this paper examines the development,evolution,and artistic characteristics of this decorative pattern among the three regions.Starting from two aspects of the theme selection and composition form of the image,we will conduct in-depth comparative analysis to explore how the "Nanjing style" image has been absorbed by Japan and Europe and integrated into local cultural genes,and further identify the aesthetic differences in the image design between China,Japan,and Europe.The Chinese and Japanese cultures are similar,and the "Nanjing style" images are often similar,but there are also new creations that reflect their own cultural and aesthetic propositions;There are significant cultural differences between China and Europe,and the significant differences in artistic aesthetic concepts make their images unique.Due to the enthusiasm and admiration for Chinese ceramic art in Japan and Europe,the design of the "Nanjing style" image has undergone a shift from pursuing imitation to integrating innovation.The formation of image art features in different regions represents a dynamic process of the emergence,dissemination,and evolution of decorative patterns.It can be seen that the differences are the result of the multiple effects of aesthetic and consumer subjects,reflecting cultural communication The characteristics of intersection and circulation.In the design and interpretation of Chinese and foreign image elements during this period,making this image an important carrier for cultural concepts and ideological values to continue in historical time and space,and also an important act for us to explore history,interpret classics,and face the future,providing useful ideas for the continuation of research on porcelain painting decoration. |
