The Self-Gaze—Research On The Creation Of Contemporary Female Ceramic Sculpture Art

With the recognition of women and their elevated status,they emerged from the male discourse and gradually produced the topic of female art,transforming from being gazed at to self-expression and self-gazing,a phenomenon reflected not only in social life,but also in the long history of ceramics,where ceramic sculpture became an important means of artistic creation and the form of artistic expression in ceramic sculpture was greatly subverted,resulting in the achievement of many outstanding female ceramic sculpture artists.In the Chinese and Western cultural background,Chinese female ceramic sculpture artists tend to be subtle in their creations,while Western women express their female body art in a radical way,and they metaphorically express their true feelings in society through female art symbols,images,and other forms.Many female artists choose "flowers" as the theme for their creation,and are good at using the metaphor between flowers and the female body,which is more subtle and secretive in form and expression,and female artists convey the female body experience and emotional expression through the personalized expression and self-formation of ceramic sculpture.The self-gaze and metaphor of the female body as an example generates visual impact and discourse to implicitly reflect the contemporary social issues.This paper analyzes and studies the artistic characteristics of self-gaze and metaphor in female ceramic sculpture art in the context of female consciousness and social status in contemporary society,the creative performance of female ceramic sculpture artists under self-gaze,and the study of the formalization of female metaphorical creation,thus reflecting the sculptor’s own thinking about the female group,body,status,gender,and psychology,the unique language formed in creation for Contemporary sculpture development process to make a positive contribution,so that contemporary women’s art has more possibilities,and in their own creative practice for the female identity of emotional expression and self-gaze,to create a unique artistic expression,to participate in the development of contemporary women’s ceramic sculpture to make their own contribution.
