The article is a report on the consecutive interpreting practice for two sessions of a webinar series held by the National Academy of Medicine of America in 2021.The report consists of four parts: the introduction of the interpreting practice,the process of the interpreting practice,case analysis,and the summary of the practice.In the case analysis,the author summarizes the problems encountered in the interpreting practice and proposes corresponding strategies.Condensation and omission are used to cope with the redundancy of interpreting.Adding logical words and adjusting order are employed to deal with logical mess.Literal translation and free translation are adopted to handle problems in interpreting metaphors.The author has accumulated substantial interpreting experience and improved interpreting capability during the preparation and summary of the practice.Hopefully,the difficulties and strategies the report delves into can provide references for future interpreting practice of similar topic.
