Yu Miri Literature Research From The Perspective Of Trauma Theory

The term trauma initially refers to a physical injury.At the end of the 19 th century,with the rise of psychoanalysis represented by Freud,mental trauma began to come into people’s vision.The study of testimonies of Holocaust survivors conducted at Yale in the 1980 s drove the rise of trauma theory.Caruth clarified the unspeakable dominance of trauma,and on this basis the Yale School represented by Hartman and Caruth reveals the unique connection between literary criticism and trauma theory.Harvard professor Judith Herman pointed out the way people react after trauma,further advancing the trauma theory.Since then,a lot of research on trauma theory and literature has been conducted in the West,and the trauma theory has gradually become a hot spot.Throughout the Yu Miri literature,trauma has always been an important theme.However,within the scope of the data collected data,there is no advance achievement of the Yu Miri literature from the perspective of trauma theory.Therefore,this paper studies the literature of Yu Miri from the perspective of trauma theory,trying to clarify the role of trauma in the literature,and whether the trauma writing can achieve the purpose of curing psychological trauma.This paper mainly uses the literature analysis method,text analysis method and theoretical analysis method,combined with her own experience,to analyze the trauma shown in her literature from the perspective of trauma theory,and also studies the symptoms and the healing of trauma.This paper first arranges and summarizes the development of the literature and trauma theory,and explains the purpose,significance and method of the research.Secondly,according to the trauma writing in The literature,the composition of the trauma memory in the literature is analyzed from three aspects: individual,family and society.Combine the trauma theory again to explore the trauma syndrome in Yu Miri’s literature from four aspects: memory intrusion,dream manifestation,mental numbness and reality escape.Fourth,starting with the way of healing psychological trauma and combining the text,Yu Miri healed her psychological trauma by telling trauma stories,literary creation and establishing connections with others.Finally,the influence of trauma on The literature is analyzed.Although trauma has destroyed Yu Miri’s inner world,traumatic experience is the main reason for the formation of Yu Miri’s literature.Writing trauma is the power of Yu Miri’s literature,and healing trauma is the purpose of Yu Miri’s literature.The study of Yu Miri ’s literary creation based on the theory of trauma provides a new perspective for her literature research,and also expands the application of trauma theory in the study of contemporary female literature,which is a very meaningful attempt.
