| This study mainly explores the influence of neuroticism on stress perception in college students, and studies and analyzes the mediating role played by negative cognitive bias in this mechanism and the regulatory effect of self-compassion.In this study,575 college students in 7 universities in Shandong,Heilongjiang and Guangxi were surveyed, using the Big Five Personality Factor Questionnaire(Neurotic Dimension),the Perceptual Stress Scale, the Negative Cognitive Processing Bias Questionnaire and the Self-Compassion Scale, and the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The results of the independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA showed that there was no significant difference in demographic variables in neuroticism.(2)The results of independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA showed that there was no significant difference in demographic variables between pressure perception and its dimensions.(3)One-way ANOVA analysis was performed on the obtained data, and there were significant differences in the negative cognitive bias of college students of different grades and its various dimensions;Independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA showed that there were no significant differences in negative cognitive bias in sex and place of origin.(4)Independent sample t-test was performed on the obtained data and one-way ANOVA analysis showed that there was no significant difference in demographic variables in self-compassion.(5)Through the correlation analysis of the obtained data,it can be seen that there is a positive correlation between neuroticism, stress perception and negative cognitive bias;Self-compassion and its dimensions are negatively correlated with neuroticism, stress perception, and negative cognitive bias.(6)The structural equation model can show that college students’ neuroticism has a significant positive predictive effect on stress perception, negative cognitive bias plays a mediating role between neuroticism and stress perception, and self-compassion will regulate the second half of the mediating pathway. |
