Teaching is rich in emotion,and emotion is one of the fundamental attributes of teaching(Hargreaves 1998).In the post-epidemic era,the world situation is more complicated,and international Chinese education,as a cause in line with international standards,is bound to be greatly affected.TCFL student teachers who have grown up in the post-epidemic era are facing the changes of the times,and how to recognize and deal with their own emotional experience in teaching internship is a proposition of practical significance.In view of this,this paper adopts a hybrid research method combining quantitative and qualitative research,through questionnaire surveys and interviews,from the three dimensions of surface behavior,deep behavior and natural behavior,including camouflage,instigation,attention shift,cognitive change,separation,release and catharsis,to explore the current status of the use of emotional labor strategies in the teaching practice process of TCFL student teachers.Through interviews with seven trainee teachers,the factors affecting the use of emotional labor strategies were analyzed,and targeted suggestions and measures were put forward for the improvement of emotional labor strategies of trainee teachers.The study finds that the use of emotional labor strategies of TCFL student teachers presents the following results:(1)TCFL student teachers have certain emotional labor strategies,but the overall level is not particularly high,and there is a certain room for improvement.(2)In terms of strategies,the use is uneven,with deep behavior and natural behavior strategies used more,while surface behavior strategies are used less.(3)The factors affecting the emotional labor strategy of international Chinese intern teachers are divided into three levels:individual factors,organizational factors,social and environmental factors,and individuals,namely:undergraduate professional background,teacher personality,and career planning;Students,administrators;Curriculum and internship policy,online teaching environment,offline teaching environment.On this basis,this paper puts forward targeted suggestions for the improvement of emotional labor strategies of TCFL student teachers from three aspects:policy,school and individual,in order to better improve the ability to use emotional labor strategies of intern teachers in future teaching internships and promote professional development.
