The Study Of Zhang Qigan’s Adherents Poems

Zhang Qigan(1859-1946)was a scholar of Dongguan in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,and a Jinshi in the late Qing Dynasty.Zhang Qigan was well-read,passed the imperial examinations,worked as an official,served as a academy headmasters and ran an enterprise.In his later years,he lived in seclusion in Shanghai and enjoyed writing.Because of his status as an adherent of the Qing Dynasty,Zhang Qigan actively collected records of adherents from all over the country in his later years,and compiled 30 volumes of Poems of Thousand Adherents of the Ming Dynasty and 8 volumes of Poems of Eight Hundred Adherents of the yuan Dynasty.This paper takes two adherent poems as the research object.The first chapter is mainly about Zhang Qigan’s life and friendship,exploring the creative relationship between Zhang Qigan and his two volumes of adherents’ poems,which is not only influenced by his friends who are also adherents,but also to show his own heart and seek identity.It was also in the poems of two generations of adherents that Zhang Qigan wrote more than three thousand adherents.Through the analysis of Zhang Qigan’s criteria for choosing adherents and the data collection of the identity categories of adherents,we know that the identity of adherents is roughly concentrated in officials and literati.Then the second chapter goes deep into the ideological connotation of Zhang Qigan’s poems.Zhang Qigan wrote poems about the adherents in order to commend the sages’integrity,so the adherents’ integrity,the thought of worrying about the country,and the traditional Confucian spirit of "courtesy,righteousness,honesty and shame,the four dimensions of the country" are the themes that Zhang Qigan wants to carry forward.This paper selects "Gu Yanwu","Buyi group","Lingnan Sanzhong" and other people’s examples,trying to show the different ways of the adherents’ integrity through the formation of identity conflicts.The third chapter analyzes the artistic style of Zhang Qigan’s creation of adherents’poems,which mainly starts from the three aspects of the expression of poetry,the lyric way of poetry and the language way.Among them,the way of expression is divided into poems on history and poems on people,which is also the embodiment of Zhang Qigan’s different creative length in the creation of poems on adherents.Then,from the expression of the emotion of Mourning for the motherland,it mainly analyzes several common images of adherents,such as emotion.Such as the analysis of brambles,copper camels,Taoyuan,etc.Finally,from the style of Zhang Qigan’s poetry language(depressed and plain)to complete the analysis of three aspects of artistic style.The conclusion is the research summary of the full text of the article,and briefly describes the influence and value of Zhang Qigan’s poetry of adherents,as well as the shortcomings of the paper and the direction of future efforts.The influence and value of the poetry of adherents are mainly analyzed from the perspective of the value of literary history,the value of adherents’outlook and the ideological perspective of national feelings.
