Shi Guangnan is an outstanding people’s musician and composer.The opera Sad for the Past is his first large-scale lyrical opera adapted from Lu Xun’s novel of the same name in1981.It is also Mr.Shi’s another exploration in music creation after the Cultural Revolution.This work uses western composition techniques,and integrates rich and colorful folk music materials,forming a unique music style.The aria "The wind is blowing" appears in the third act of the opera,"Autumn".The song takes sadness as the theme and starts from Zijun’s inner monologue.From the perspective of piano accompaniment,this paper analyzes and studies the aria excerpt "The Wind Whispering" from three aspects,the creative characteristics of Shi Guangnan and "Sad for the Past";Research on the background creation and artistic characteristics of the aria "The wind is blowing";Through the speed and strength,rhythm and beat,touch of keys and timbre of this work,the piano accompaniment of this opera is interpreted in a deeper level,and combined with the author’s own performance experience,the cooperation between accompaniment techniques and singers is analyzed.
