Research On The Beijing School TV Series Directed By Liu Jiachen

Due to the vast territory of our country and the different geographical environments and cultural customs in different regions,there are also regional cultural differences in the content,artistic style,and aesthetic characteristics of TV dramas.This has led to the emergence of numerous regional schools of TV dramas such as the Beijing Style,the Shanghai Style,the Shaanxi Style,and the Northeast Style.Among them,Beijing style TV dramas that showcase Beijing’s regional culture hold a pivotal position.This paper analyzes and studies the behind-the-scenes creation,theme expression,character image building and audiovisual language of Liu Jiacheng’s four Beijing TV dramas: Under Zhengyang Gate,Love is full of Siheyuan,Little Woman Under Zhengyang Gate and Zhima Hutong.It is concluded that the content of the Beijing TV dramas directed by Liu Jiacheng is close to the old Beijing culture.He chooses to cooperate with local Beijing scriptwriters to integrate their personal experiences into the scripts.Add the standard Beijing dialect and rhyme,combined with the real scenes and characters in old Beijing,so that the plot is more real and full,and the characters are more three-dimensional and vivid.In terms of the theme expression,the scriptwriters take ordinary people in Beijing as the object,focuses on the daily life of the characters,shows the life situation and survival significance of ordinary people,and also shows the charm of Beijing TV dramas itself.
