In the context of the digital era,the strategic layout of digital China and the high-quality development of cultural tourism have formed a historic intersection,and significant changes have taken place in traditional tourism consumption methods,content,and environment,The country has successively issued the Opinions on Promoting the High Quality Development of the Digital Culture Industry,the Opinions on Deepening the "Internet plus+Tourism" to Promote the High Quality Development of the Tourism Industry,the Fourteenth Five Year Plan for the Development of the Digital Economy and other important documents to promote the transformation and upgrading of the cultural and tourism industry.Digital technology and cultural tourism are deeply integrated and infiltrated.Emerging digital technologies are also"experience technologies" to a certain extent.The application of digital technologies such as 5G,artificial intelligence,virtual reality,and blockchain has enriched and innovated the manifestation and experience content of tourism experience,marking the accelerated generation of new formats and models in cultural tourism,and is an important engine for the transformation,upgrading,and high-quality development of the cultural tourism industry.This article introduces the theory of experience economy to study the development of digital culture and tourism.In the digital era,the experience economy is an economic form that takes services as a platform,goods as props,and digital technology as a support.By creating consumers’ physical and mental experiences,it promotes consumers’ emotional input,and then enhances the value of goods and services.From the perspective of its essence and experience creation methods,The experience economy theory has certain applicability to the digital development of cultural tourism.In 2008,Zaozhuang City,Shandong Province,took cultural tourism in the ancient city of Taierzhuang as an important engine to promote the transformation of the city’s new and old kinetic energy,and announced the launch of the reconstruction of the ancient city of Taierzhuang.After nearly a decade of development and operation,the ancient city of Taierzhuang has gone from being unoccupied to being crowded with tourists.The development of cultural tourism has shown a good trend,but there are also problems such as strong dependence on the ticket economy,insufficient experiential products,and insufficient resource conversion,How to use digital technology to activate the endogenous impetus for the development of cultural tourism in the ancient city of Taierzhuang has become the key to the high-quality development of cultural tourism in the ancient city of Taierzhuang.Based on the theory of experience economy,this article selects "Digital Development of Cultural Tourism in the Ancient City of Taierzhuang" as the research object,systematically analyzes the connotation of experience economy theory and experience creation methods in the digital era,explains the applicability of experience economy theory in the digital development of cultural tourism,and draws a theoretical framework for the digital development of tourism in the perspective of experience economy,that is,based on the construction of digital ecology,Improve experience content through digital resource integration,upgrade digital products,enhance experience perception,expand digital space.create an experience atmosphere,and reconstruct experience consumption through digital marketing promotion.Through research methods such as questionnaire survey and in-depth interview,based on the theoretical framework of cultural tourism digital development and the current situation of cultural tourism digital development in the ancient city of Taierzhuang,it is concluded that there are problems in the digital development of cultural tourism in the ancient city of Taierzhuang,such as low integration of cultural tourism resources,single digital presentation method,lack of digital experience products,insufficient sensory interaction experience,lack of space for cultural tourism digital experience,insufficient linkage between virtual and real space,and low utilization rate of marketing platform data A series of problems such as insufficient traffic operation capacity.In response to the above issues,based on the theoretical framework of digital development of cultural tourism,targeted suggestions are proposed for the digital development of cultural tourism in the ancient city of Taierzhuang:construct a digital development strategy at the level of digital ecological construction of cultural tourism,and improve the factor guarantee mechanism;Build a digital resource cloud platform at the level of digital resource integration and transformation,create a cultural map cloud of the ancient city,accurately refine the main theme,and build an open source library of the ancient city;At the level of digital product upgrading,enrich the types of cultural and tourism experience products,form a digital product matrix,deepen product sensory experience,and enhance tourists’ experience perception;At the level of digital space expansion,optimize physical tourism space,reproduce spatial narrative scenes,build online virtual experience space,and achieve virtual and real spatial linkage;Promote the construction of a smart ancient city platform,accurately deliver marketing content,build a multi-channel marketing system,and focus on user interaction in the digital marketing promotion process.Overall,this study attempts to construct a theoretical framework for the digital development of tourism based on the experience economy theory,with a view to providing some practical guidance for the digital development of Taierzhuang Ancient City and even similar cultural and tourism scenic spots in China.
