The electronic pipe organ, also known as the double-row keyboard organ, was first invented by American inventors in the late 1920s.In 1959,Japan produced the world’s first vertical double-row key electronic organ, named Electone. This young instrument can be used by a single person to play the repertoire of a pop band,a jazz band,or even a symphony orchestra. It can also be used to complete the orchestration of a complete piece. At present, there are more and more originals, adaptations and performances of electronic organ pop music in China, but the number of papers in this field is less.On the one hand, the history of pop music is not long compared with classical music, and on the other hand, the restrictions on the playing ideas of pop music are not high. This paper will focus on exploring how to adapt and play The repertoire of jazz big band on the electronic organ.Taking the classic repertoire of jazz big band "In The Mood" as an example,it will study how to reduce the total jazz score to three lines. The instruments of each voice part are distributed in the upper, lower and foot keyboards of the electronic organ; The process of producing timbre:timbre integration, editing, and numerical allocation of various synthesizer parameters; How to use appropriate playing techniques to restore the overall effect of real Musical Instruments.Jazz big bands are much simpler than orchestras, but with the addition of drums and modern instruments such as guitars, bass and bass, the idea of reduction and arrangement is broader and can provide other ways of arranging classical symphonies.I hope this paper makes a little contribution to the future arrangement and performance of electronic organ jazz.
