As a plucked musical instrument,Guzheng is one of the oldest ethnic musical instruments in China, widely popular among the people, fully embodying the cultural tradition of the Chinese nation. In the long river of history, through the extensive innovation and practice of multiple composers and guzheng performers,a batch of creative works with contemporary and regional characteristics have emerged, emitting a new era atmosphere and highlighting the integration of Chinese and Western music culture.During this period, the performance form of the guzheng was also undergoing a transformation. As composers were not satisfied with the singularity of guzheng performance, they began to create a large number of concerto forms that combined Chinese and Western instruments such as zheng and piano accompaniment, zheng and string quartet, zheng and folk band, zheng and symphony team. This change in artistic expression was particularly evident with the arrival of the 21st century. This article starts from the perspective of comparing the performance forms of different accompaniment versions, and analyzes the music structure, performance techniques, and music score changes of the piano accompaniment version and the expanded string quartet version of Qin Tuqing,in order to explore the effective impact of the same work on its artistic expression under two different accompaniment versions.
