This article starts with the ceremony, regulations, and ritual vessels of the Jin Dynasty’s Jiali, discusses the specific contents of the Jin Dynasty’s emperor’s enthronement ceremony, coronation ceremony, pilgrimage ceremony, holy festival ceremony, dietary ceremony, and wedding coronation ceremony, analyzes the political and social issues reflected in the Jin Dynasty’s Jia rituals, and further explores the causes of the Jin Dynasty’s Jia rituals. The Jin Dynasty’s Jia rituals basically inherited the idea of "being close to the people with Jia rituals",and most of the rituals were carried out under the leadership of the royal family.Although the main participants in the ceremonies such as the emperor’s accession to the throne, being honored and the crown prince being enrolled are limited to the upper imperial family or officials, there are usually gifts such as "amnesty" and tax reduction after the ceremony.Such gifts are a new life for some prisoners, which can reduce the burden of life for ordinary people and gain more public favor in the court. However, amnesty also has certain hidden dangers for social security. The emperor’s birthday is an extremely important event both in the country and at home,so Holy Festivals not only affect the royal family and ministers, but also involve ordinary people and even affect diplomacy between countries. There are various names for emperors to visit, among which the "Spring Water and Autumn Mountains"formally inherited the "Four Seasons Napo" of Liao, but its ritual system was based on the Song Dynasty and did not form a strict system like that of Liao in terms of time and location.Marriage crown and diet, not to mention, are all grand events from the noble to the common people.Marriage breeds offspring to strengthen the foundation of the country,to ensure the prosperity of the family, and to bring relatives and brothers to the clan in a relaxed banquet atmosphere, thereby promoting internal relationships within the clan.In addition, the Jin Dynasty’s Jia rituals also inherited the equality of rites, which is particularly evident in the imperial Jia rituals. In the imperial ceremony, there are clear distinctions from the selection of clothing to the specifications of ritual vessels, from the ranking of officials to the rewards given by the emperor, which fully reflects the equality of etiquette.Secondly, the Jin Dynasty Jia rituals also had diverse characteristics. While inheriting the etiquette culture of the Central Plains, the Jin Dynasty Jia rituals also inherited the customs of the Jurchen ethnic group. For example,in weddings, there were both the "Six Rites" of the Central Plains,as well as the Jurchen people’s independent marriage seeking and service marriage system. In dietary habits, there were both Central Plains style and Jurchen style cuisine, reflecting the diverse and inclusive etiquette culture within the Jin Dynasty. This inclusive and diverse convergence is an important manifestation of cultural exchange and integration among various ethnic groups in China’s history.A systematic study of the Jin Dynasty’s Jia rituals ceremony can help deepen our understanding of the Chinese nation community.
