Research On Character Creation In Intangible Cultural Heritage Documentarie

Intangible cultural heritage is the precious wealth of human society,with rich economic,cultural and social values.In recent years,China has attached great importance to the protection of intangible cultural heritage,pointed out that it is necessary to carry out the "living inheritance" of intangible cultural heritage,and encouraged the traditional culture to glow with new vitality in modern society through various means of communication.As one of the most authentic means of expression in film and television,documentary can record truthfully according to facts,and truly express the state of people and things through certain shooting and editing techniques,with unique narrative skills and artistic charm.Through the creation and dissemination of intangible cultural heritage documentary,it can make the intangible cultural heritage culture penetrate into the public,let the audience understand the unique charm of intangible cultural heritage,and play an important role in the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.In the past intangible cultural heritage documentaries,creators tend to focus on the culture or technology itself,showing more of the beauty of art,without paying too much attention to the inheritors.However,among the intangible cultural heritage skills that need hands-on teaching to continue and inherit,the inheritor is the well-deserved protagonist.The craftsman spirit it represents has long been integrated with the intangible cultural heritage culture in the persistence day after day,fully reflecting the core and soul of the intangible cultural heritage culture.Therefore,how to focus on the inner world of the inheritors,express their perseverance of "ordinary people do ordinary things" through the camera,and shape the image of the inheritors of intangible cultural heritage with flesh and blood is an important proposition worth studying.This paper,as an illustration of the graduation work "Fingertip Grass Art",takes Han Liuye,the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage project Xuanhua Liugou straw weaving,as the subject of the film,to make a true record of the inheritor’s life and inheritance status quo,show the inheritor’s love for straw weaving and efforts in inheritance,and dig deep into the inner world of the characters through the research method of in-depth interviews,and tell the inheritance status of straw weaving culture through the inheritor’s mouth,Show the audience the difficulties and new opportunities of intangible cultural heritage in the process of modern inheritance.Starting from a creative perspective,this article first sorts out and summarizes existing practical and theoretical research,and selects appropriate research methods to lay the foundation for subsequent research.The second part elaborates on the basic concepts of intangible cultural heritage documentaries,character characterization,and analyzes the existing problems in the current creation of intangible cultural heritage documentaries.The third and fourth parts,combining the creative practice of the work,elaborate on the basic principles and themes of shooting from a theoretical perspective,and then demonstrate the creative process of the graduation work through the selection of shooting objects,preliminary research,formulation of shooting plans,mid-term on-site shooting,post processing,and editing,and analyze the methods of character characterization in detail.Finally,through reflection and harvest summary of the shortcomings of the work,summarize the shooting experience during the creation.
