| The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 has had a serious impact on overseas Chinese language teaching.Traditional Chinese language teaching has been forced to switch from offline to online,and online Chinese language teaching has developed rapidly.Currently,online Chinese language education platforms mostly use interactive methods to achieve teacher-student interaction and mutual learning through online education,providing a good interactive environment for two-way communication between teachers and students,and ensuring the equality of status between teachers and students.Under the network environment,whether online Chinese language teaching can exert the advantages of online education,promote better development of teacher-student interaction activities,and achieve good teaching results is worth considering and researching.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the characteristics and problems of teacher-student interaction in online Chinese classroom.Based on the author’s practice in online Chinese language teaching in Thailand,this paper analyzes classroom teaching videos and studies the interaction of Thai junior high school students during online teaching.Based on social interaction theory,interaction hypothesis,and humanistic learning perspective,this article uses multiple methods such as literature research,classroom observation,quantitative analysis,and qualitative analysis to analyze the teaching structure and style of online education in Thailand’s junior high schools,using the Improved Flanders Interaction Analysis System(IFIAS),and explores the rules of online interaction between teachers and students.Research has found that teachers can create a good interactive atmosphere between teachers and students in Thai Chinese language classrooms,making full use of teaching technology to improve teaching effectiveness,and guiding students to actively participate in teaching activities.However,in the teaching process,there are problems such as strict teacher language management,closed questioning,simple interaction methods,weak encouraging language content,and poor interaction efficiency.By analyzing the problems existing in online Chinese classroom practice,from the perspective of improving teachers’ classroom questioning skills,cultivating students’ awareness of questions,and setting up situational guidance,we adopt diverse interactive models to create a pleasant learning environment and cultivate harmonious teacher-student relationships;Through measures such as optimizing the functions of the teaching platform,improving the teaching environment,and teaching in small classes,the quality of interaction between teachers and students is continuously improved,and the healthy development of online Chinese language teaching and the subject of Chinese language international education is promoted. |
