| The BOPPPS model is a teaching model originated from North American teacher training,which emphasizes "goal-oriented" and "participatory learning",and divides the teaching process into six teaching links(Bridge-in-Objective-Pre-assessmentParticipatory Learning-Post-assessment-Summary).The teaching mode has the advantages of high participation,timely feedback and significant efficiency,and its teaching effectiveness has been effectively verified in many disciplines of higher education in China.This paper introduces this teaching mode into the primary Chinese reading classroom,which aims to solve the problems of students’ weak learning initiative,insufficient classroom interaction,and low learning efficiency.Based on the relevant theoretical basis,process structure and questionnaire survey of BOPPS teaching mode,this paper first analyzes the problems that can be solved by the application of the model and clarifies its feasibility.Secondly,the teaching objectives,teaching materials,teaching objects,teaching environment and other relevant teaching elements involved in the teaching process are sorted out and analyzed,and the preliminary work is carried out for the next teaching design.Then,in the chapter on teaching design and application,this paper makes relevant teaching design for teaching principles and teaching processes,puts forward the appropriate teaching methods for each link,and selects the specific teaching application of a text as an example.In the teaching example,the study flexibly adjusts the teaching links in the BOPPS teaching mode,and lists a variety of teaching methods for the teaching links.Finally,after 8 weeks of teaching practice,the author reflects on and summarizes the teaching advantages and shortcomings of the BOPPPS teaching mode in the primary reading course of Chinese as a foreign language,combined with the comparison of students’ achievements,interviews with students,and feedback analysis and integration of teachers.It is found that the application of this teaching mode can effectively improve the teaching efficiency of primary Chinese reading courses,enable learners to have more clear learning goals,improve learning interest and participation,and have considerable effect on solving the lack of enthusiasm,restraint and interaction in the existing classroom.At the same time,combined with the shortcomings in teaching design,this paper puts forward suggestions for applying this teaching mode to primary reading courses: clarify teaching objectives,pay attention to participatory teaching,and attach importance to after-class feedback.It can be seen that the application of BOPPS teaching mode in primary Chinese reading courses can achieve better teaching and learning results.This paper also provides Chinese language teachers with reference for the application experience of primary Chinese reading class mode,and provides new ideas for reading teaching in international Chinese education. |
