An Analysis Of Military Thoughts Of German Blitzkrieg’s Strategy And Tactics

In World War II,the German army and its high military quality won brilliant victories in the Polish and French battles.Even if the war against the Soviet Union was ultimately lost,the German army still caused huge human and material losses to the Soviet army.Therefore,It is also generous to praise the German army’s combat capability in many military treatise.However,why did the German army,which reached the tactical peak,repeat the mistakes of winning first and losing later in World War I.Through the case study,we can find that even at the tactical level,the German army also has some problems.Even the French campaign in which the German army won a great victory actually contains some accidents and mistakes.Therefore,this thesis believes that while the German army began to establish and improve this set of tactical theory,it buried a lot of hidden dangers for the subsequent failures.These hidden dangers were gradually exposed with the development of time and losing all the victory of the German army.I believe that the greatest impact of event factors on the German army is not the instability of armored force mobility caused by season,but the gradual loss of time and place.When the German army establishes the tactical theory,the opportunity of amplifying the shortcomings of the military thought planted will gradually increase.Based on the analysis of military theory and combat examples,this thesis analyzes what defects exist in the German military thought and how these defects have pulled the German army from victory to failure in the practice.
