The Application And Research Of Dunhuang Auspicious Animal Pattern In Digital Illustration Design

This paper attempts to interpret Dunhuang art through many disciplines,such as social history,aesthetics,Buddhist history,comparison of Chinese and foreign cultures,and constantly deeply study the content,evolution process and era characteristics of Dunhuang auspicious animal murals.Exquisite murals are preserved in Dunhuang Caves.Many auspicious animal images appear in Huagai,caisson,pure land Sutra painting and decorative patterns.Among them,Kalavinka appears many times in many Dunhuang murals.There are many disputes about the origin of Kalavinka in China.Studying the origin and content of Kalavinka is of great help to the study of the introduction and development of Dunhuang art,and a more comprehensive understanding of Dunhuang mural art,It is complementary to the complete history of painting in China.Kalavinka is a bird with a unique shape and vivid image.It is a symbol of auspiciousness.It has different cultural connotation and symbolic significance from other auspicious animals.In the continuous evolution,it shows the integration of Chinese and Western cultural connotation and complement each other.The most important change from the emergence of Kalavinka to different times can explain the social life and evolution at that time.From the perspective of horizontal history,Dunhuang art started from India and then spread to China through the Central Plains.Due to different regions,themes and ideas,the animal images of Dunhuang art are rich and diverse.Although we can find the shadow of the western regions,the fundamental feature is still Dunhuang.We can explore the achievements of Dunhuang Art in the history of painting.From the perspective of vertical time axis,the images of auspicious animals account for more and more in decorative paintings,which shows that with the development of the times,the images of auspicious animals are more and more decorative,which can provide a clue to the development of art history.Taking the traditional Dunhuang auspicious beast Kalavinka as the starting point,this paper analyzes its visual language and artistic expression methods,and puts forward the method of combining digital illustration to express the auspicious symbol of Dunhuang auspicious beast pattern.From the perspective of Chinese digital illustration innovation,this paper selects and analyzes the visual performance of realistic style and abstract style in modern illustration,makes new illustration performance from the aspects of modeling,color and composition,enriches the theme of modern digital illustration,puts forward new methods for the prosperity of digital illustration industry in the future,and provides new ideas for the inheritance of Dunhuang traditional art.
