With the continuous development of the information age,many universities have changed their traditional offline teaching mode and chosen to teach on various online teaching platforms.The online elementary Chinese comprehensive course requires a more flexible and interesting pedagogy,and the visual characteristics of the graphic method can meet this requirement.Therefore,applying the graphic teaching method to the elementary Chinese comprehensive class can simplify the teaching content and play a role in fully motivating students.Pedagogical design is a fundamental part of the Chinese as a Foreign Language curriculum.Scientifically and effectively Pedagogical design can not only enhance the performance of classroom teaching but also motivate students’ passion for learning Chinese,so that classroom teaching can achieve the best effect.This article combines the author’s teaching practice at the International Han School of Henan University,relying on the graphical teaching method,and using 19 students from Class 3 of Henan University as teaching objects,conducts a teaching design for the 41 st lesson "Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes" in "Boya Chinese Beginner II",hoping to provide a real case that can be used for reference in the teaching of online elementary Chinese comprehensive courses.The whole paper is divided into four main parts.The first part of this paper is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research background and the significance of the topic,sorts and summarizes the domestic and foreign literature in three aspects: teaching design,online teaching of Chinese as a foreign language and graphic teaching method,and points out the research methods of this paper.The second part is an overview of the graphic teaching method,which mainly expounds on the theoretical basis,main forms,and teaching principles of the graphic teaching method.The third part is the instructional design plan for "Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes".It includes the analysis of factors related to instructional design,overall design,and instructional flow.The fourth part is teaching evaluation and reflection.It mainly evaluates the teaching effect and learning effect,points out the areas that need to be improved in teaching design,and gives corresponding improvement measures.
