Research On Xi Jinping’s View Of Striving For Happiness From The Perspective Of Historical Materialism

Human beings have always pursued happiness,and the pursuit of happiness is an instinct and right of human beings,but the content of happiness is not static,and happiness has different definitions in different eras.Happiness is not indulging pleasure and sitting on it,nor is happiness suppressing material desires in pursuit of moral perfection.The happiness of the Chinese people in the new era is that the masses of the people live a good life through their own labor under the leadership of the Party,and happiness comes from people’s own labor struggle,and labor itself is a kind of happiness.Based on the contemporary people’s yearning for a better life,Xi Jinping profoundly explained the logical relationship between "labor" and "happiness",pointed out the practical path for the people to obtain happiness and achieve a better life,and formed a rich connotation and clear layered concept of labor felicity.Xi Jinping’s view of striving for happiness is to achieve a better life for our people,take human labor creation as the foundation,start from the actual labor situation of contemporary Chinese working people,and strive to improve the happiness experience of workers in labor,which is a new era of happiness concept of dialectical unity of labor and happiness.Based on Marx’s historical materialism,Xi Jinping’s view of striving for happiness answers the question of happiness of the Chinese people in the new era,focusing on what happiness is and how to achieve happiness through labor,pointing out that human happiness is born from labor,and labor itself is a kind of happiness,which inhibits the unhealthy trend in society in vainly trying to get rich overnight without hard work,and inspires thousands of workers who are working hard,and further understands the value and significance of labor felicity for Chinese people.Carrying forward the spirit of arduous struggle and living a better life have important theoretical significance and practical value.Starting from the basic viewpoint of Marx’s historical materialism,this paper sorts out and summarizes the theoretical and practical sources of Xi Jinping’s view of striving for happiness,analyzes the connotation of happiness and labor felicity,and summarizes and refines the main contents of Xi Jinping’s view of striving for happiness based on Xi Jinping’s relevant expositions on labor felicity.From the perspective of Marx’s historical materialism,this paper analyzes and discusses the people’s nature,practical and historical characteristics embodied in Xi Jinping’s view of striving for happiness,and extracts the practical ways to practice Xi Jinping’s view of striving for happiness from the three aspects of material foundation,spiritual support and institutional guarantee,and makes a more systematic theoretical and academic interpretation of Xi Jinping’s view of striving for happiness,hoping to provide certain enlightenment for the people to achieve a better life and labor felicity.
