Cultural experience,as a resource accumulated by individuals in their growth process,is full of possibilities for literary creation.In the history of contemporary Chinese literature,Su Tong’s novels have left a rich and colorful legacy in a highly personal writing mode.His novels have strong aesthetic value and cultural significance,which are related to the Jiangnan regional culture,traditional classical culture,and college education he received in the early 1980 s,The return of literary journals in the 1980 s and the return of humanistic trends are closely related,and these cultural experiences,under mutual traction,have given Su Tong a strong creative driving force.Throughout Su Tong’s forty years of creative experience,the impact of cultural experience on Su Tong’s writing is self-evident.The thesis selects three major sources of Su Tong’s cultural experience.One is regional culture,which is the southern impression projected by the scenery,customs,and customs of his hometown Suzhou in Su Tong’s novels.It explores the relationship between regional culture and writers’ novel creation;The second is the embodiment of classical cultural experience formed under the guidance of traditional cultural resources in Su Tong’s novels;Third,Su Tong’s college life at Beijing Normal University in the early 1980 s and the impact of literary phenomena in the early 1980 s on his novel creation.By combining the author’s regional cultural experience,classical cultural experience,and educational and cultural experience under the trend of the times,this article analyzes the choice of Su Tong’s literary creation path and the source of writing power for sustainable development.By combing and observing Su Tong’s own cultural experience as a whole,taking it as a starting point to open up the process of Su Tong’s novel creation,we can help us see the role and formation power of cultural experience in novel creation.I hope to provide a new way of thinking about Su Tong’s novel creation through sorting out and analyzing his cultural experience.
