This article takes the language landscape in rural areas of Changzhi City as the research object,uses relevant knowledge of sociolinguistics,and adopts various methods such as document method,case method,and corpus method to investigate and study the language landscape in rural areas of Changzhi City.The first chapter is an investigation and analysis of the basic situation of language landscape in rural areas of Changzhi City.Firstly,the types of language landscapes in rural areas of Changzhi City are analyzed.The types of language landscapes in rural areas of Changzhi City mainly include traditional language landscapes and modern language landscapes.Traditional language landscapes include plaque language landscapes and couplets language landscapes;Modern language landscapes include sign language landscapes,banner language landscapes,display panel language landscapes,poster language landscapes,carving language landscapes,graffiti language landscapes,and other language landscapes.Secondly,it analyzes the use of language and characters in rural language landscapes in Changzhi City.It mainly analyzes the code usage,content expression,language usage,and text usage of language landscapesThe second chapter summarizes and analyzes the characteristics of the language landscape in this region.The rural language landscape in Changzhi City is characterized by strong local characteristics,while the rural characteristics are prominent in the language landscape.The rich local characteristics are mainly reflected in the widespread use of doorboards and couplets,while the rural characteristics are highlighted in the content of the language landscape,which focuses on agricultural development,supports rural construction,and leads farmers’ fashion.The third chapter analyzes the problems and reasons of rural language landscape in Changzhi City.The language landscape in rural areas of Changzhi City has some problems,such as misuse of words,delayed updating of language information,and lack of promotion of rural characteristics and advantages in content.After analysis,it is found that the main reasons are insufficient language literacy of the setters,insufficient understanding and understanding of the language,and inadequate supervision by managers.The fourth chapter is about the thinking of rural language landscape in Changzhi City.Firstly,it puts forward suggestions to improve the rural language landscape in Changzhi City.We should strengthen language planning and strengthen inspection and supervision.Secondly,it ponders on the relationship between rural language landscape and rural revitalization in Changzhi City.It is found that language landscapes have a positive role in promoting rural revitalization,especially in promoting rural cultural revitalization and rural ecological revitalization.
