The Exploration And Expression Of Chinese Industrial Theme In Watercolor Painting Creation

As an exotic product of Western art,watercolor painting has undergone over a hundred years of development,and has been deeply imprinted with the imprint of the Chinese culture,becoming a bright pearl among the artistic treasures of our country.In the process of creation,watercolor painters create distinctive watercolor paintings based on the pace of social development and their own geographical location.Watercolor painters focus on the performance of factory workers,industrial relics that have undergone the baptism of time,or heavy machines that are in operation.They call on more people to pay attention to the current situation of China’s industry and let more people understand the glorious years of the development of China’s industry over the past century.Industrial watercolor works extol the tremendous contributions made by China’s industrial bases to the modernization drive.This article takes the theme of Chinese industry as my graduation creation theme to deeply explore the expression of Chinese industrial themes in watercolor painting creation.The thesis is mainly written using the literature research method and image analysis method,searching for a large amount of image materials on the internet,reading relevant books in the library,taking on-site photos,and collecting a large number of watercolor paintings on Chinese industrial themes for editing and sorting,providing theoretical basis for the article,in order to conduct my graduation creation.The first part of this paper is the introduction.The second part introduces the general situation of the development of Chinese industrial watercolor painting and its important historical value in the historical development process.The third and fourth parts respectively elaborate the artistic characteristics of Chinese industrial watercolor paintings and the artistic creation significance of Chinese industrial watercolor paintings.The fifth part describes the process of personal creative practice with the theme of Chinese industry.The author hopes that through this paper,more people will remember the performance of Chinese industrial themes in watercolor paintings,thereby highlighting their historic contributions to the country’s reform,opening up,and modernization cause.
