| The fonts are open source,consistent,and at the same time keep up with the times.Today,we cannot lose our identity when we are designing Chinese fonts.From the design point of view,Chinese characters are born out of graphics.Whether it is figurative or abstract graphics,we often say that calligraphy and painting have the same origin,and words and images complement each other in a long civilization.As graphic ideograms,Chinese characters are not only limited to the category of font design.From the perspective of the entire design category,it is a very great creation.This paper discusses the ideographic representation of fonts,starting from the pictorial representation of fonts,and explores the initial methods and methods of Chinese font design.Extracting three ideographic methods,extracting visual elements of conceptual creativity and then giving it to the form of fonts,so as to express creativity and concepts.Combining theoretical research with design practice,giving three experimental fonts——the font of Zhuo、the type of Trichoplax adhaerens font and composition font.Express different ideas and concepts.Starting from the application,font design is widely used in various design scenarios,trying to make experimental fonts not simply stay in the experiment.Applying theory to design practice through methods such as case analysis and literature research.Give text to graphics to express creativity and concepts,and then use the imagery of fonts to return to the design context to apply to actual scenes.This article hopes to explore the direction of the market today for our expression of cultural creativity and the pursuit of individual needs through the study of font’s representation in form. |
