A Study Of The Artistic Aesthetics Of Guan Gong Opera

The traditional culture fever of recent years has helped to bring opera to audiences in a new light.Under the influence of traditional culture,Guan Gong opera,as an important and special type of performance in opera,has also developed a unique artistic expression in terms of aesthetics.After combing through the existing studies on Guan Gong opera,the author found that most of the current studies focus on the study of the text or stage performance of Guan Gong opera,and there are still few research results that explore the aesthetic nature of Guan Gong opera from an overall artistic perspective.Therefore,the study of the aesthetic nature of Guan Gong opera is of some significance and value in enriching research results and promoting Guan Gong culture.Through the methods of documentary research,comparative analysis,observation and fieldwork,the article composes the basic concepts of Guan Gong opera,aesthetics and aestheticity from the basic theories of art,and on this basis establishes the natural connection between Guan Gong opera and aestheticity in terms of artistic essence.In addition to the aesthetic nature of the art of opera itself,Guan Gong opera also has a certain ritual nature,which makes it contradictory in terms of the utilitarian nature of ritual activities and the non-utilitarian nature of aesthetic activities.This paper takes this issue as a guide to explore the questions of whether Guan Gong opera is aesthetic,what kind of aesthetic nature Guan Gong opera has,and what is the value of studying the aesthetic nature of Guan Gong opera.Secondly,the aesthetic characteristics of Guan Gong opera are summarised under the guidance of theoretical foundations.Then,through the explanation of the ritual nature of Guan Gong opera and a large number of illustrative examples,the study of the artistic aesthetic nature of Guan Gong opera is provided with a realistic basis,and the unique aesthetic expression of Guan Gong opera in the text and performance is analysed.On this basis,through an exploration of the cultural basis of the aesthetic nature of Guan Gong opera,the value and significance of the heritage of Guan Gong opera in contemporary development will be sought.
