Research On Ecological Metaphor In Xi Jinping’s Speech From The Perspective Of Systematic Functional Linguistics

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has placed ecological civilization construction in the prominent position of the overall work,comprehensively strengthened the construction of ecological civilization,integrated to treat landscapes,forests,lakes and sand.,Long-term work,unprecedented determination,great strength,and great results.General Secretary Xi Jinping has expressed great attention to the construction of ecological civilization in his speech.However,in view of most ecological knowledge,it is not easy to understand for ordinary people,and considering the ability of the subject to decoding professional scientific terms,General Secretary Xi uses ecological metaphorical forms of language activities to be used to talk about the form of ecological metaphors during speeches.Personal interaction.On the one hand,this interaction enables the subject to accurately understand the speaker’s discourse information,and on the other hand,it also enables the speaker to pass on his discourse information to the subject.Due to the high degree of interaction with the discipline of system functional linguistics,it is a form of language activity in the context and how language is exploring how the language is constructed in the context.Therefore,this article uses the three major meta-functional theories in system functional linguistics,and analyzes the corpus of ecological metaphors in Xi Jinping’s speech(2013-2022).Dialogue information such as guidelines,admonition,revelation and other discourse released by the talker,as well as the impact of such discourse information on the subject of the talker in the ideological or social practice field.Through research,we found that the ecological metaphor in General Secretary Xi ’s speech has the functions of passing discourse information,clarifying things,specifically strategies,and conveying ecological concepts in conceptual functions;Interpersonal distance,behavioral guidelines such as behavioral activities in practical activities;in terms of language functions,have the role of tasting to guide new information and emphasize the importance of the topic.In addition,this study also proves that Han Lide refers to the rationality of system functional linguistics as "applicable linguistics",and also made appropriate supplements to the combination of system functional linguistics theory and green grammar speaking with national leaders.
