A Report Of E-C Translation Of Life In LEGO(Excerpts) From The Perspective Of Adaptation Theory

This is a report on the E-C Translation of Life in LEGO(Excerpts),which was a biography of an Enterprise.It is written by Jens Andersen,who wrote several biographies for famous people.And it was published by Politikens Forlag in 2021.In this book,Anderson told the story of the development of Lego and the generation shift of Christiansen family.This book is rich in content,trickling to people’s heart.By reading it,you could have a more profound understanding of things related to Lego.In the process of translating the book,I used post-editing mode.In the process of writing this report,I analyzed examples guided by Adaptation Theory on my comprehension and expression of the book,discussing four aspects of adaptation combined with concrete translation strategies and problems emerged in the process of translation.In this process,I tried my best to follow natural speaking voice of Chinese based on being faithful to the original and consequently to find out feasible ways of translating this kind of text.
