Study On The Kazakh Version Of "Loyalty And Betrayal"

Loyalty and Betrayal is a long-form documentary reportage by contemporary Chinese writer He Jianming,based on declassified historical materials,historical details and interviews with survivors and their descendants.Ha’s translation was translated by the famous contemporary Chinese Xinjiang translator,Mr.Hailati Nuhai.This book mainly tells the hard struggle of the underground party led by the South Leadership Bureau of the CPC Central Committee on the eve of the liberation of Chongqing,reveals the white terror and black slaughter of the Guoming Party regime,the crazy arrest of enemy agents and the shocking betrayal of traitors,and records Bai Mansion’s insubjugated struggle with all the heroes in Refuse Pit.Through the real documentary,the author portrays the characteristics of the characters in the image.Through the interview,the authenticity and shock of the article are reflected,so as to bring inner inspiration and thinking to the readers.Through comparison,the Kazakh translation follows the original content and feelings,the article is natural and smooth,the language is vivid,and the details are also interpreted word for word,which reflects the translator’s translation quality and translation level.Loyalty and Betrayal,as a documentary report,combined with history,contains rigorous and rich words and deep sentences.The Ha translation uses a lot of translation skills to express the article vividly,so that the readers of the target language have a profound feeling.Based on the comparative study of the original text and the translation of Loyalty and Betrayal,this paper summarizes the rules and results of the exchange of words,sentences and rhetoric in the two languages through Nida’s theory of functional equivalence.This paper mainly consists of four parts: introduction,text,conclusion and references.By combining Nida’s functional equivalence theory with commonly used translation methods as theoretical guidance,this paper analyzes the translation strategies and skills involved in the translation of Loyalty and Betrayal from Chinese to explore the advantages and disadvantages of the translation,as well as the solutions.Main thesis:(1)The concrete embodiment of functional equivalence of words,sentences,texts and rhetoric in the translation of Loyalty and Betrayal.Based on the previous research on the theory of functional equivalence,this paper expounds and summarizes the translation results of the "four equivalents" used in this translation from the perspective of linguistics and translation studies.(2)Domestication and foreignization are the main strategies for the translation of the "Four Equivalents",among which literal translation,free translation and reduction are the main translation methods.This paper illustrates the specific application of domestication and foreignization by comparing a large number of Chinese and Chinese texts.Main features of the paper:(1)Up to now,studies on Loyalty and Betrayal have mainly focused on Chinese literature,and few of its translated works are seen,especially its comparative studies on Chinese and Chinese translations.The comparative study of Han-ha translation of literary works is also mainly focused on novels and political papers.The literary works selected in this paper are historical documentary reportage.This paper analyzes the translation problems of documentary reportage from an all-round perspective,and takes this as the research object to enrich the comparative study of Han-ha translation of reportage.(2)When studying the translation of Loyalty and Betrayal,it takes Nida’s "functional equivalence theory" as the theoretical basis and combines traditional translation strategies and methods to give specific examples.The conversion of Chinese-Chinese translation is a rigorous and creative process.The advantages,problems and enlightenments presented by Chinese-Chinese translation are of great significance to linguistics,translation studies and pragmatics.
