| As one of the most representative methods of criticism in ancient Chinese literary theory,imagery criticism is extremely national,and can be marvelous for thousands of years with the power of fragments,and has made outstanding contributions to traditional poetic criticism.It originated in the pre-Qin period,was affected by many factors,and gradually matured in the long history.In the early and middle period of the Qing Dynasty,it presented a new atmosphere different from the past.The use of imagery criticism in the poetic discourse of the early and middle Qing Dynasty not only continued the advantages of the previous generation in the evaluation of writers and works,but also played an important role.It was closely combined with the poetic theory of the Qing Dynasty,with the dual value of poetic charm and theoretical connotation,highlighting the speaking wisdom and cognitive height of the poetic discourse of the Qing Dynasty,and has important research significance.This article attempts to take the imagery criticism method as the starting point,through the systematic analysis of the specific poetic works in the early and middle Qing Dynasty,excavate its connotation in many ways,and promote the multi-angle study of the poetic theory of the Qing Dynasty and the discussion of the unique value of the imagery criticism method.The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter traces back to the source of the imagery criticism in the poetic discourse of the early and middle Qing Dynasty.Firstly,the concept of “imagery criticism” is analyzed from different perspectives;Secondly,it discusses the ideological origin and historical evolution of the imagery criticism method.As a criticism method with national characteristics,it originated in the soil of the Chinese nation,was deeply affected by the traditional culture’s emphasis on intuitive perception,the unity of nature and man,and was catalyzed by social and historical conditions such as the Wei and Jin character evaluation,Buddhist culture and other social and historical conditions in its development and evolution,showing different characteristics in previous dynasties,It has gradually become a mature method of criticism.The second chapter discusses the main content of imagery criticism in the poetic discourse of the early and middle Qing Dynasty.Through the collection and collation of a large number of specific poetic works involving imagery criticism,it can be summarized into many aspects such as commenting on poets’ poems,discussing poetry creation,summarizing the evolution of poetry history,discussing poetry style,etc.Compared with the scattered use of the previous generation,it is more systematic and systematic,and it is analyzed with detailed examples to see the application overview.The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the characteristics of the imagery criticism in the poetic discourse of the early and middle Qing Dynasty.From the perspective of diachronic and synchronic combination,the early and middle Qing Dynasty,on the basis of inheriting the advantages of the previous generation of imagery criticism,showed new characteristics of the era due to its unique historical and cultural background: the integration of metaphor models,distinctive and prominent interpretation of meaning,the integration of poetry and rationality,and outlined the style of the Qing Dynasty as the final perfection period of imagery criticism from different aspects.The fourth chapter comments on the value and status of imagery criticism in the poetic discourse in the early and middle period of the Qing Dynasty,and emphasizes the significance of enlightenment to contemporary literary criticism.From the perspective of the whole development history of imagery criticism,the imagery criticism in the poetic discourse of the Qing Dynasty has not only made a strong response to the dispute from the aspects of reducing the poetic flooding,highlighting the rational color,highlighting the poetic spirit,but also has a unique position in the overall trend of turning the poetic criticism method of the Qing Dynasty to rational and empirical,which closely combines works,pays attention to perceptual power The advantages of transforming abstract into concrete can provide some reference for contemporary literary criticism. |
