Research On Preface And Postscript Of Sanqu In Ming Dynasty

Following the Yuan Dynasty,the development of Sanqu in Ming Dynasty created a new situation.With the substantial increase in the number of works,the creation of the preface and postscript of Sanqu also made a new breakthrough.More than 600 prefaces and postscripts of Sanqu are not only considerable,but also have their own characteristics in subject matter,art and value.However,at present,academic circles pay little attention to them and lack systematic research.Therefore,this thesis takes the prefaces and postscripts of Sanqu in Ming Dynasty as the research object,trying to explore their basic overview,development characteristics,functions and values.The whole thesis is divided into three parts:The introduction part mainly introduces the reasons for choosing the topic and the research significance,summarizes the development of prefaces and postscripts,defines the research scope,combs the research status of prefaces and postscripts of Sanqu in Ming Dynasty,and expounds the research ideas,methods and innovations of this thesis.The main part of the thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter,generally observing the basic situation of prefaces and postscripts of Sanqu in Ming Dynasty,including counting the number of prefaces and postscripts and authors and summarizing their creative characteristics;From the perspective of "self-made" and "other works",this thesis explores the relationship between the author of preface and postscript and the author of Sanqu and its main creative contents;Prefaces and Postscripts are divided into three types: prose,parallel style and poetic style,and their writing characteristics are discussed respectively.The second chapter,from a diachronic point of view,analyzes the rheological characteristics and causes of the preface and postscript of Sanqu in Ming Dynasty,including the characteristics that the status of the creative subject "aristocrat-official-civilian" is gradually declining;Analyze the characteristics that the theme content of preface and postscript has developed from material chronicle to all kinds of events in real social life,from single to rich;It reveals the diversified characteristics of the development of preface and postscript style and the overall trend towards elegance.The third chapter analyzes the function and function of the preface and postscript of Sanqu in Ming Dynasty,focusing on the explanatory function of the preface and postscript in explaining the creative background,explaining the creative process and explaining the editing situation;Discuss the description and narrative functions of prefaces and postscripts in depicting characters,narrating events and depicting scenes;Explore the functions of prefaces and postscripts in expressing emotions and making comments;Based on the previous research,the function of preface and postscript to Sanqu can be summarized as follows: supplementing information,annotating the meaning of words,refining the content,summarizing the meaning of songs,laying the foundation,strengthening emotions,paving the way,extending Sanqu and commenting on music,and appreciating the words.The fourth chapter explores the multiple values of the prefaces and postscripts of Sanqu in Ming Dynasty,including refining the application norms of format and rhythm in the prefaces and postscripts,the basic requirements of lyricism and making things happen,the writing methods of different themes and other Sanqu creation ideas,sorting out the evaluation methods of Sanqu works in the prefaces and postscripts,such as "knowing people about the world","not empty beauty,not hiding evil",comparison and analogy,and expounding the music theory thoughts of the prefaces and postscripts at four levels:ancient and modern,north and south,sound and emotion,and literary thinking.Sort out and summarize the historical materials in the preface and postscript about the composer’s life and friendship,the creation time and circulation of his works,social historical facts and deeds of people,and then explore the value and significance of these historical materials to the composer,his works and social history;This thesis discusses the outlook on life,emotion and values shown in the preface and postscript,and analyzes the causes of these concepts.The conclusion part summarizes the relevant conclusions of the thesis and points out the shortcomings of the thesis.
