| Adolescents undergo significant psychological and physiological changes and are ther efore susceptible to mental health issues due to internal and external factors.Well-being is not only an important indicator of mental health,but also with the rise of positive psycholo gy,research on happiness has become increasingly popular both domestically and internati onally.However,current research on well-being mainly focuses on subjective well-being,with little attention paid to psychological well-being.Furthermore,research on psychologic al well-being mostly concentrates on adult populations,with little research on adolescents.Therefore,this study explores the factors influencing psychological well-being based on th e importance of psychological well-being and the uniqueness of the adolescent population.To better explore this in different cultures,this study includes a total of 9 countries,with 61,010 students,51,014 teachers,and 34,650 parents,and uses a hierarchical linear model to c onduct the research.Study 1 explores the relationship between interpersonal relationships a nd students’ growth mindset and individual psychological well-being,and explores the role of national cultural values.Study 2 explores the relationship between interpersonal relatio nships and teacher growth mindset and individual psychological well-being,and explores t he role of national cultural values.Study 3 explores the relationship between interpersonal relationships and parental growth mindset and individual psychological well-being,and ex plores the role of national cultural values.Specifically,the study uses the random regressio n effect and the non-random intercept model in the hierarchical linear model to explore the influence of first-level and second-level factors on psychological well-being,respectively,and uses the two-level complete model in the hierarchical linear model to explore the intera ction between two-level factors.The specific results are as follows:(1)There are significant gender differences in adolescent psychological well-being,with males having higher psychological well-being than females.(2)Regarding the first-level factors influencing adolescent psychological well-being,peer relationships and teacher-student relationships have a positive and significant effect o n psychological well-being,while parent-child relationships have a negative and significan t effect.However,the relationship between growth mindset(students,teachers,and parents)and psychological well-being did not reach significance.(3)Regarding the second-level factors influencing psychological well-being,the influ ence of national cultural values on psychological well-being did not reach significance.(4)National cultural values have a negative regulatory effect on the relationship betw een teacher-student relationships and psychological well-being,but the regulatory effect is not significant for peer relationships,parent-child relationships,and growth mindset. |
