A Study On The Propaganda Work Of Literature And Art Of The Party In Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region(1937-1945)

In order to promote the completion of various missions and tasks during the war of resistance,the Communist Party of China formed a systematic and strict propaganda work system in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area,among which literary and artistic propaganda work became an important propaganda method to unite and educate the people and a powerful political weapon to fight and destroy the enemy because of its outstanding popularity,interest,mass and adaptability to the actual needs of the people in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area.The theoretical experience and practical exploration of the Party’s literature and art propaganda work in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area have certain reference significance for the Party to carry out literature and art propaganda work in the new era.This study sorted out the Party’s literature and art propaganda work(1937-1945)in the Shaan-Gansu-Ningxia border area and analyzed the necessity and feasibility of the party’s literature and art propaganda work in the region from a historical point of view,that is,the necessity of the Party’s political mobilization needs and the practical needs of the masses in the region was demonstrated.This paper discusses the feasibility of the Party’s literary and artistic propaganda work in Shaan-Gansu-Ningxia border area from three aspects: the scientific theoretical guidance of the party’s literary and artistic propaganda work,the influx of a large number of patriotic literary and artistic workers into Yan ’an,and the tendency of literary and artistic propaganda to popularize.From the point of view of important time nodes,the Party’s literary and artistic propaganda work(1937-1945)in the Shaan-Gansu-Ningxia border area was divided into the initial stage of literary and artistic propaganda(1937.5-1939.12),the middle stage of literary and artistic propaganda(1940.1-1942.4)and the new stage of literary and artistic propaganda(1942.6-1945.8).This paper expounds the simple stages of the Party’s literature and art propaganda work in the Shaan-Gansu-Ningxia border area.It summarizes the elements of the Party’s literary and artistic propaganda work in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area,including drama and opera;Reportage,fiction and poetry;Woodcuts,comics and others;Northern Shaanxi storytelling,folk songs,chorus and Yangko opera;Main forms of film and photography;It has the main role of awakening the people to support the Anti-Japanese War,stabilizing the army’s heart and encouraging morale,and defending the united front against the enemy;As well as the main characteristics of clear political,broad mass and diversity of forms.Finally,the paper expounds the effectiveness of the Party’s literature and art propaganda work in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area.It raised the political consciousness of the people to support the war of resistance;Enhanced the soldiers’ spiritual strength to fight the enemy courageously;Consolidating the anti-Japanese national united front;The arrogance of the hostile forces to commit evil deeds was dealt a blow.At the same time,it also sums up the enlightenment of the Party’s literature and art propaganda work in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border area,insisting on the party’s leadership is an important guarantee to do well the literature and art propaganda work in the new era;Adhering to the people-centered creation orientation is the primary premise of doing a good job in literature and art publicity in the new era;Keeping pace with The Times and constantly innovating is the key measure to do a good job in literature and art publicity in the new era;Insisting on seeking truth from facts and proceeding from reality is a necessary link to do a good job in literature and art publicity in the new era.Through the systematic study of the Party’s literature and art propaganda work in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border area(1937-1945),the results are sorted out in order to provide some reference for the literature and art propaganda work in the new era.
