Lin Zhaohua began his career as a drama director in the late 1970 s and early1980 s.He created many well-known classic works,which established his position in the contemporary drama director field.Throughout his creative career,Lin Zhaohua’s drama in the 1980 s has become a historical phenomenon that cannot be ignored in Chinese drama with its outstanding pioneering significance and experimental color,as well as its pursuit of innovation and change.Lin Zhaohua,who was born in human arts,claimed to be a "rebellious son of human arts".In his creation in the 1980 s,his main characteristics were the "rebellion" against the tradition of human arts and the "one play and one style" of opera.In the creation of drama consciously into the expression of traditional Chinese opera,the precious exploration of Chinese drama.In the predicament of contemporary drama,we should find a way of drama with unique value and significance.This paper takes the form and style of Lin Zhaohua’s drama in the 1980 s as the research object,trying to make Lin Zhaohua’s research a small step forward in the direction of depth.Firstly,this paper expounds the social and cultural environment in the 1980 s,and summarizes the humanistic environment of Lin Zhaohua’s drama creation in the 1980 s by describing and analyzing the cultural background and drama background in the1980 s.It was in the great environment of ideological liberation in the 1980 s that realistic drama and exploratory drama ran side by side,together forming the creative pattern of drama in the 1980 s,showing the scene of a hundred flowers blooming.Lin Zhaohua’s Absolute Signal,Station and Wild Man created in the early to mid-1980 s triggered the trend of experimental drama,which opened the modernism stage of Chinese contemporary drama.Secondly,it combs and analyzes the form of Lin Zhaohua’s drama in 1980 s.By repeatedly watching his drama performance videos in the 1980 s and studying a large number of literature materials,this paper analyzes the form characteristics of Lin Zhaohua’s works in the 1980 s as well as his exploration and innovation of drama concepts and performance skills.In this paper,form change is taken as one of the key research contents,and from the perspective of content promoting form renewal,the aesthetic factors created by Lin Zhaohua’s director in the 1980 s and their influence on the young generation of drama artists are deeply analyzed.Thirdly,from the spiritual connotation,artistic ecology and value concept of Lin Zhaohua’s drama in the 1980 s,the author analyzes the exploratory,innovative and practical style characteristics embodied in his drama.On the one hand,avant-garde theater and other stage styles highlighting modernity.On the other hand,he still produces works of exquisite realism.Lin Zhaohua made many breakthroughs in character shaping,creating an eclectic character image,which reflects the life style of drama language and the localization characteristics of character image.This paper explains and studies the transformation of Lin Zhaohua’s drama style in the 1980 s,and tries to analyze the reasons for the diversification of Lin Zhaohua’s drama style from the perspective of creative motivation and character characteristics.Finally,this paper summarizes the significance of Lin Zhaohua’s drama innovation from the form and style of his drama in the 1980 s.Adhering to the spirit of constant exploration and innovation,Lin Zhaohua set off the upsurge of small theater drama creation,explored diversified stage forms,developed the theory of drama nationalization,and made contributions to the diversity of Chinese drama.
