Research On The Characteristics And Teaching Strategies Of "Yao X Mei X"

"Yao X Mei X" is an expression frequently used in modern Chinese.It has clear learning requirements in the syllabus related to international Chinese education,and research related to it has also achieved certain results.From the point of view adopted by relevant research,it is mainly to study its antithesis form from three planes,or to compare it with similar constructions such as "Yao X You X","Yao Duo X You Duo X",etc.However,there are relatively few studies on a single form of "Yao X Mei X",and the angle is relatively traditional.After examining a large amount of corpus,we found that "Yao X Mei X",in addition to having a variety of syntactic functions and constructional meanings,it can also achieve a variety of rich interactive functions in conversation..Based on the theory of interactive linguistics and construction grammar,this thesis takes the semantic features of the construction "Yao X Mei X" as the starting point,and discusses its semantic features in detail through the description,interpretation and qualitative analysis of the corpus,and then combined with the function and co-occurrence of this construction in syntax,analyze its unique meaning in the process of conversation,and comprehensively examine the discourse function of this construction.This thesis starts from the literal meaning and pre-definition of the construction "Yao X Mei X",and then analyzes the meaning of the construction emerging in the context.Literally,"Yao X Mei X" can be used to indicate that the speaker "the object of the statement does not have or lacks certain standards",and the speaker has a presupposition when using this construction to talk,that is,"if the object of the statement is to achieve a certain goal or meet a certain standard,it must have or possess X." Combined with the corpus,the construction meanings of the construction "Yao X Mei X" are mainly manifested in five types: [-conditional] meaning,negative evaluation meaning,subjective definition,emphatic meaning and universal meaning.This construction also shows rich syntactic functions,which can be used as subject,attributive and complement in a sentence.The typical syntactic function is to act as a predicate in a sentence,and it can also be a clause in a sentence.When this construction expresses the meaning of a specific construction,it often co-occurs with the adverbs "You/Hai/Ye","Jiu" and "Zhenshi",the rhetorical form and its opposite form,so as to enhance its modal expression in conversational communication.In terms of its pragmatic function,the follow-up sentence types of "Yao X Mei X" subjectively negated by the speaker mainly include supplementary,rhetorical,evaluation,and object transfer,so as to realize the rich discourse functions of negative evaluation,enhancing language power and modality expression.In addition to the listener,the object of negative evaluation can also be others,the speaker himself or objective things,so as to express the speaker’s reprimand,belittling,dissatisfaction,irony,advice and helplessness.Regarding the international Chinese education of the construction "Yao X Mei X",this thesis combines the arrangement of the construction in the outline and Chinese textbooks,and based on the relevant teaching method theories,it is believed that teachers should firmly establish the teaching awareness of language chunks in the teaching process,take communication as the guide,and help learners acquire the construction through practice feedback in real contexts.
