| Acid design is one of the emerging design styles that has been popular since 2018,which has only been noticed by scholars lately.Based on the available research and in conjunction with the works of the “Not/Sure” series of music album design,the problem “What is the visual language of acid design” is mainly discussed and solved in this paper.In the process,the origin and current situation are sorted through literature analysis and direct observation,while the future trend is inferred by analogy analysis,and the visual language is analyzed and summarized through case analysis.Finally,the conclusion is applied to personal works for verification.Specifically,this paper starts with the acid culture behind acid design,focusing on the cultural connotation of “acid” and the origin of acid thoughts to understand how it developed.Secondly,the definition of acid design is discussed,and its development status is sorted out to pave the way for the next chapter of case analysis.Thirdly,combined with specific acid design cases,visual language features are extracted.Finally,music album design representing avant-garde culture is selected as the carrier,and a series of research conclusions including acid design visual language features are applied to design practice for testing,until relevant conclusions and thoughts on visual language of acid design are obtained. |
