In the contemporary era of diversified development of watercolor art, there are endless painters who use watercolor to describe the beach. There are skilled and bright British watercolor painters William Russell Flint and Lucy Willis;Linda Doyle,an American painter with a wonderful style between simple abstraction and realism; And Chinese watercolor painter Shang Baogang from the Haizhiyun series, among others. The beach is the most common scene in my childhood life and the most difficult emotion to understand in my heart.I was born and raised by the seaside, and since childhood,I have been "active" at sea,so that my memories of growing up are always related to the sea and the beach. The "Shadow of the Beach" is the general term for a series of watercolor paintings created by the author with the theme of the beach.Guided by contemporary artistic concepts, the author delves into the concept, artistic conception, detailed depiction, and watercolor material charm of his own works, striving to break through the limitations of painting and media, comply with the aesthetic requirements of the times, and explore the expressive factors of artistic creation from the technical level,The ultimate goal is to make art works closer to the reality of art rather than the reality of life.
