Unsuk Chin is one of the most active composers on the world music stage today.This paper analyzes the composer’s Gougalon,created by the music project "into..." jointly organized by Ensemble Modern and Siemens Art Project,and explores the composition techniques from the pitch,rhythm,texture,timbre and structure of the work.The paper is divided into two parts,the first part is divided into an introduction,mainly explaining the reason and significance of the paper topic selection.The second part is the main part of this paper,which focuses on analyzing the composition techniques in Unsuk Chin’s Gougalon.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly summarizes Unsuk Chin’s life and the creation background of Gougalon.The second chapter mainly analyzes the compilation characteristics and the new sound and timbre.The third chapter mainly analyzes and summarizes the pitch materials and typical rhythms in the work.The fourth chapter is a brief analysis of the structure of each movement.The fifth chapter is an analysis of the "microvariation" technology used in his work.
