In order to explore the characteristics of the creative style of Faure’s art songs,this paper analyzes the respective moods of the songwriters when the art song "Butterfly and Flower" was composed from the background of the times,the general environment of European creation in the nineteenth century and Faure’s creative style,and has a deeper understanding of the inner emotions of the work.So that it can be better expressed when singing.Through the analysis of the framework structure,lyric connotation,French pronunciation and singing technique of "Butterfly and Flower",it focuses on the difficulties of singing and provides a reference for more singers when interpreting this work.
