| In this paper,we analyze Debussy’s art songs based on the poem "Tears Fall on My Heart" by the symbolist poet Verlaine,and explore the causes and processes of the special interconnection between impressionist music and the audience,i.e.,aesthetic association,through the analysis of the work’s harmonic color,structure,rhythm of the lyrics and piano accompaniment,and the musical language of the work itself.The study will also analyze the difficulties of the singing language,vocal techniques and the overall atmosphere of the work,and further summarize the characteristics and expressions of Debussy’s art songs and how to apply aesthetic association to vocal performance,in order to provide reference for more scholars in understanding and studying the work and singing Debussy’s art songs of the same period. |
