| With the continuous deepening of quality education,cultivating students’ comprehensive quality has become the goal of modern teaching.Aesthetic education is an indispensable part of quality education.Attention should be paid to the penetration of aesthetic education in middle school English education.However,the current situation of aesthetic education in high school English teaching is not optimistic.How to dig out the aesthetic education materials in high school English textbooks and use them effectively in teaching should become a problem worthy of exploration and research in the process of English education and teaching.English teaching activities are one of the important positions for aesthetic education for students,and English textbooks contain rich aesthetic education materials,which are important carriers for the implementation of English courses and the realization of aesthetic education.The research uses literature research methods and text analysis methods,based on the perspective of language beauty,taking Yilin’s English(2019)textbook as the research object.After sorting out the four aspects,it was found that the aesthetic education material rhetorical beauty in the Yilin version of English(2019)accounted for the largest proportion,and the aesthetic education material of the optional compulsory one was the most.High school English teachers should improve their English aesthetic literacy,study the content of English aesthetic education,dig deeply into the aesthetic education materials in the textbooks,guide students to summarize them,clarify the goals of aesthetic education in teaching,and consciously create an atmosphere so that students can feel beauty,understand beauty,appreciate beauty,and the last but not least,guide students to express their emotions and create beautiful English works.Exploring the presentation and teaching application of aesthetic education materials in high school English textbooks can provide a certain reference for front-line high school English teachers to effectively penetrate aesthetic education in teaching,improve students’ English aesthetic awareness and aesthetic ability,promote the all-round development of students’ quality,and promote the realization of educational purposes. |
