"The overall goal of the Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Practically Strengthening the Aesthetic Education Work in Colleges and Universities in the New Era" is to achieve breakthrough progress in aesthetic education in colleges and universities by 2022,achieve significant results in the reform of aesthetic education and teaching,and significantly improve the aesthetic and humanistic qualities of college students."By 2035,a diversified,high-quality,and modern socialist aesthetic education system with Chinese characteristics in colleges and universities will be formed." Public music courses in higher vocational colleges are an important position for cultivating aesthetic education.The goal of aesthetic education is to create a perfect personality and promote the comprehensive development of students through the cultivation of moral education,aesthetic education,intelligence education,and physical fitness.Dalcroze Eurhythmic teaching method is a method for students to perceive music through their own experience,and then use their body movements to express music.The application of this teaching method in music classes not only allows students to become the main body of learning and stimulate their interest in learning music,but also cultivates students’ moral qualities,improves their intelligence,strengthens their bodies,and enhances their aesthetic and humanistic qualities.Based on the requirements of aesthetic education,the author,starting from the current teaching situation of public music classes in Guizhou S School,proposes and conducts research on the relevant strategies for applying Dalcroze Eurhythmic teaching method in public music classes in higher vocational colleges,with a view to changing the teaching situation of public music classes in Guizhou S School,thereby cultivating students to ultimately achieve good musical and humanistic literacy.This article consists of five parts besides the introduction and conclusion.The first part outlines the feasibility analysis of Dalcroze Eurhythmic,public music classes in higher vocational schools,and the application of Eurhythmic in public music classes in higher vocational schools.The second part is a survey of the current situation of public music classes in vocational colleges,including two parts: teacher interviews and student questionnaires.The third part proposes three teaching strategies for using Dalcroze Eurhythmic in public music classes in higher vocational colleges: first,understand the theory of Eurhythmic and cultivate awareness of rhythm;Secondly,the use of song,dance,and music in a trinity of teaching,reflecting the value of rhythm;Third,adopt multiple creative strategies to enhance rhythmic ability.The fourth part,using Dalcroze Eurhythmic teaching practice in public music classes in higher vocational schools,selects two pieces of music and conducts case descriptions and analysis.The fifth part is teaching evaluation,which is divided into student evaluation,teacher evaluation,and teaching reflection.Through the author’s personal practice,this article summarizes the teaching strategy of using Dalcroze Eurhythmic in higher vocational public music classes,hoping to have certain reference significance for the majority of higher vocational music educators,in order to more effectively improve the teaching status of higher vocational public music classes.
