The teaching of Chinese characters has been recognized as difficult to teach and learn,so in the field of international Chinese teaching,the teaching of Chinese characters presents the problem of slow development.In international Chinese teaching,good Chinese character teaching materials play an extremely important role.This paper has made a comparative study on the two sets of textbooks,Foreign Quick Chinese Characters and Newly Compiled Chinese Character Jinliang,which are two sets of independent textbooks of international Chinese characters are suitable for beginners in the non-Chinese character cultural circle.This study compares two sets of textbooks to summarize their advantages,disadvantages,and lessons learned in writing,in order to better develop Chinese character teaching resources.The thesis is divided into four parts: the first part introduces the research background,method,content and significance of the international Chinese characters and the thesis.From the perspective of the overall compilation of the two sets of textbooks,we discuss the format,principles and ideas of writing.We compared the two sets of textbooks in the third part,including the number of Chinese characters,the selected characters and the arrangement of Chinese characters,etc.In general,the Chinese characters included in the two sets of textbooks all meet the standards of the outline,and the compilation rules also meet the rules of Chinese characters.After comparison,each set of textbooks has its own unique characteristics,from which we can get a lot of useful enlightenment.But these two sets of textbooks also have their own merits.In the conclusion,a good set of independent Chinese character teaching materials should not deviate from the scientific characteristics in any aspect of the arrangement and design.It is necessary to fully consider the law of rapid development of Chinese characters for foreigners and the specific situation of the applicable objects,so as to give full play to the maximum use of Chinese textbooks and help learners lay a solid foundation.This study analyzes the characteristics and deficiencies of the two sets of teaching materials,and puts forward relevant suggestions,which can provide effective reference for the teaching of primary Chinese characters,and also hope to help the compilation and use of international Chinese character textbooks to a certain extent.
