Research On The Creation Techniques Of Shostakovich’s Twelfth String Quartet

Dmitri Dmitriyevich Shostakovich(1960-1975)was one of the greatest composers of the twentieth century.He devoted his life to music,and he was a humble,sincere composer with his own unique personality.As a musician who was always at the center of politics,his life was full of contradictions and conflicts,which were reflected in his musical style.Shostakovich’s compositions are highly innovative,and in his music,delicate expressions of personal emotions and dramatic conflicts,subjective consciousness and objective facts,all form an inseparable whole.As the composer’s "inner diary",the string quartets,especially the mature works of Shostakovich’s late period,are more likely to express his personality and inner feelings,and to provide a closer look at the core of Shostakovich’s creative and aesthetic philosophy.The Twelfth String Quartet marks a new beginning in late composition and is one of the most important parts of the study of Shostakovich’s music.Chapter 1 provides a brief introduction to Shostakovich’s life and the background of the composition of the Twelfth String Quartet;Chapter 2 presents the main analysis of the macro-structure and compositional characteristics of the two movements of the Twelfth String Quartet;Chapter 3 explores the logic of the pitch organization of the two movements of the Twelfth String Quartet by combining the concepts of constants and variables in mathematics,observing the movement trajectory of the pitch Chapter4 is an analysis from the perspective of weaving patterns,in which the four aspects of line,dot,block and composite weaving are used to grasp the homogeneity of form and content in the work;Chapter 5 is an analysis of the relationship between the text structure,sound and aural aesthetics of the work.
