Research On The Popular Mobilization Of The CPC Before And After The Liao Xi-ShenYang Campaign

After the victory of the Anti Japanese War,the Northeast region received special attention from the Kuomintang,the Communist Party,the United States,and the Soviet Union due to its special geopolitical status.The Kuomintang,the Communist Party,and the United States scrambled to seize the opportunity to advance towards the Northeast.The CPC and the armed forces under its leadership took the lead in entering the Northeast,while the Kuomintang,with the help of the United States,transported a large number of troops to the Northeast.War behind the appearance of peace was inevitable.Before and after the Liao Xi-Shen Yang Campaign,the Kuomintang and the Communist Party waged a fierce game in the Northeast.Capturing the Northeast region is not only related to the fate of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party,but also related to the adjustment of international relations during the Cold War.In this process,the mobilization of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and the support of the Northeast people are crucial to the victory of the campaign.This paper systematically studied the mobilization of the people of the CPC before and after the Liao Xi-Shen Yang Campaign.After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan,the confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union,the civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China,and the hardship of the people in Northeast China,the CPC adopted adaptive popular mobilization methods according to the changes in the campaign situation in the three stages before,during,and after the Liao Xi-Shen Yang Campaign,to reshape the rural society in Northeast China,and the unified leadership of the Party has been realized and the organic combination of the Party,the government,the military and the people has played a joint role,which has stimulated and encouraged the enthusiasm and initiative of the people in Northeast China to join the army.This enabled the armed forces led by the CPC to develop into a million troops in less than three years,from only 110000 when they left the customs in 1945.Finally,they won the Liao Xi-Shen Yang Campaign,liberated the whole Northeast,and accelerated the process of the national liberation war.Admittedly,some problems and dilemmas such as soldiers leaving the army and the heavy burden of the people also appeared in the process of mass mobilization of the CPC.The Party adjusted its policies and summarized its experience in a timely manner,which provided lessons and inspiration for the mass mobilization of the CPC in the future.This paper makes a systematic discussion on the popular mobilization of the CPC before and after the Liao Xi-Shen Yang Campaign,hoping to enrich the academic research on the mobilization theory and methods of the CPC,and provide valuable reference for relevant research.
