The Influence Of Modern Media On The Narrative Of Shen Congwen’s Novels

With the rise of modern newspapers and periodicals,the communication carrier of novels has undergone tremendous changes,and novels,as an indispensable part of newspapers and periodicals,have developed rapidly with the development of newspapers and periodicals.Modern newspaper novels use newspapers and periodicals as the carrier to spread in all directions,but also are constrained by the layout of newspapers and periodicals and influenced by news texts,and interact with news.The combination of fiction and news makes modern novel narratives also have a tendency to be “newsy”.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this article is divided into five chapters.The introduction mainly introduces the origin of the selected topic,sorts out the existing research results of modern media and modern literature,reviews Shen Congwen and modern media research,examines the existing research results,discusses the feasibility of this study,and explains the research background and research significance of this paper.The first chapter is a study on the relationship between modern media and Shen Congwen’s literary creation.It focuses on the "newsy" tendency of modern fiction.The second chapter discusses that under the influence of the news thinking or news spirit of the new sex of newspaper and periodical news narrative,Shen Congwen has injected strong legendary themes into Xiangxi novels through the description of the new and interesting Xiangxi customs,so that the novel content presents novelty and heterogeneity,and has won the attention and recognition of wide readers.The third chapter starts from the authenticity and objectivity of news,and discusses Shen Congwen’s influence on the authenticity of newspaper news narratives,and uses limited knowledge narrative to highlight the authenticity of novels in novel narratives,and uses pure objective narratives to highlight the objectivity of novels.The fourth chapter is about the influence of newspaper news narrative on the narrative language of Shen Congwen’s novels.The marriage of novels and modern newspapers and periodicals makes novels an important part of modern newspapers and periodicals,which inevitably makes novels maintain their literary nature,while changing the deep and subtle style of traditional Chinese novels,and keeping the language popular and simple together with the newspaper and periodical news style,highlighting the readability,and highlighting the popular characteristics of news.Under the influence of the language of newspaper and periodical news narrative,the language of Shen Congwen’s novels,especially the novels with Xiangxi themes,focuses on quoting the Xiangxi dialect in the novel,combining it with the vernacular language,showing the popularity and regional nature of the novel language,and attracting the attention of readers.The function of news newspapers and periodicals in disseminating information has also influenced the criticism of the writer Shen Congwen’s language and speech style,and directly expressed his views in the text.Chapter 5 is from the perspective of the influence and constraints of modern media on the narrative of Shen Congwen’s novels.It is believed that Shen Congwen,while catering to the reading needs of the readers,is also constantly adjusting the theme of the novel,so that the theme of the novel is constantly adjusted and enriched.On the other hand,readers’ acceptance also restricts Shen Congwen’s creation,and while mass media bring popular language,some novels also bring superficiality.
