| Since the advent of COVID-19,the international Chinese education MOOC has been developing rapidly.More than 400 international Chinese education courses have been launched on different learning platforms around the world,with more than 3million registered learners.However,the quality and effectiveness of these courses are uneven."What are the characteristics of international Chinese language education MOOC? How effective is the construction of international Chinese language education MOOC? What are the influencing factors? What is the composition of the evaluation system of the construction of international Chinese language education MOOC?” A series of issues need further consideration.This paper selects Coursera,which has the largest number of registered learners in the world,and takes 77 International Chinese language education courses on this platform as the research object for data collection and analysis.This paper analyzes the characteristics,quality evaluation indexes and weights of international Chinese language education MOOC.And this paper tries to establish an evaluation system,which plays a guiding and quality monitoring role for the development of international Chinese language education MOOC.The research can be divided into the following three parts:Firstly,the group portrait of MOOC data is carried out.According to the portrait,there are four main characteristics of the international Chinese language education MOOC,which are "large number of courses,several of construction institutions,a small quantity of course types and scare course resources".Secondly,the correlation analysis between the indicators is carried out according to the two dimensions of "curriculum builder" and "curriculum learner".It is concluded that the four indicators of course type,construction institutions,course difficulty and the number of reading materials are the significant factors which affecting the effectiveness of the construction of international Chinese language education MOOC.Finally,this paper establish the prediction model of effectiveness indicators through regression analysis.An evaluation system for the effectiveness of international Chinese language education MOOC construction has been constructed,which is composed of 8 indicators and corresponding weights,including course type,course difficulty,number of tests,construction institutions,teaching cycle,language of teaching,number of videos and number of reading materials. |
