| Xu Fang is a brilliant poetess in the 1930 s.She graduated from Peking University,the birthplace of new poetry.She has published new poetry in many famous journals.Her graduation thesis The history of Chinese new poetry is the second monograph dedicated to the development of new poetry in the history of Chinese new poetry.After graduation,she worked as the editor of the resumed ballad weekly.When the war of resistance against Japan broke out,Xu Fang traveled many places,married Xu bacon in Chongqing,and moved to Taiwan in 1949.Since then,she has focused on her husband and children and disappeared from the literary world.Until Cai Dengshan sorted out and published Xu Fang’s poetry collection and The history of Chinese new poetry,the forgotten poetess was gradually discovered by the academic circles,but at present,the academic circles focus on Xu Fang’s emotional life,and the research on Xu Fang is not comprehensive and systematic.This paper studies Xu Fang’s literary activities by collecting and sorting out historical materials and carefully reading Xu Fang’s literary works,in order to more comprehensively grasp Xu Fang’s creative characteristics and the significance of literary activities,so as to make Xu Fang appear in the history of literature in a three-dimensional and multi-dimensional way.Xu Fang’s new poems have rich themes and run through with emotion,writing about the love of lovers,the love of civilian,the love of the motherland and the love of family.Creative techniques are diverse,lyrical,pay attention to details,novel and unique imagination,the combination of refined and popular language,diverse forms,and pay attention to scenes and plots.The creation has a civilian perspective and a female position.Love poetry has a unique female perspective,showing the diversity of the creation of the forgotten female poets in the 1930 s.The history of Chinese new poetry reflects Xu Fang’s new poetry views that pay equal attention to both content and form and pay attention to the poet’s personality.These new poetry views are influenced by Hu Shi and Zhu Guangqian.The historical stages of the development of new poetry and the selection of materials reflect her combination of evolution and aesthetics and her liberal view of the history of new poetry.The graduation thesis of seeking perfection and truth and complete system reflects the high requirements and high quality of new poetry education in the 1930 s,as well as the era aesthetics that the object poetry and modern poetry did not understand and accept in the 1930 s.By adjusting the main items,standardizing the arrangement system,actively soliciting contributions,helping authors collect materials and help authors communicate,and establishing contacts with other journals,she promoted the stable development of ballad weekly after its resumption.Xu Fang inherited and developed the editing ideas of her predecessors,paid attention to the research and balance of the nature of ballad weekly,and paid attention to the folk function of ballads.At the same time,she also practiced the research of ballads,which was groundbreaking and focused on novel themes. |
