In recent years,with the development of vocational education reform in China,secondary vocational music education has been paid more and more attention by the state and society.Problems such as difficulties in policy implementation and practical teaching in music education in secondary schools have received focused attention from scholars,teachers,and the state.Using literature method and questionnaire method,etc.,this study summarizes the relevant concepts and historical development of secondary music education,compares the current situation of music teaching in three secondary schools in the province respectively,and uses questionnaires to understand the music learning of secondary school students in business schools in Jiangxi Province.Analyzing the educational environment,educational curriculum content,and teaching methods,the study found that the main problems of secondary music education are insufficient attention from educational departments and schools,lack of unified curriculum standards,and weak construction of teachers and subject systems,etc.This study proposes employment-oriented music education improvement initiatives for secondary students in response to the problems found,so as to improve secondary music education in depth,expecting to Promote the development of secondary music education and the growth of secondary school students.
