As China’s national strength continues to grow,the number of people learning Chinese language is increasing,and the localization of Chinese teaching has become a trend.However,the levels of Chinese language teaching vary among different countries.Some countries are undergoing the localization transformation of Chinese language teaching,but the results have not been successful.As a country that started Chinese language teaching relatively early,Poland has developed a relatively mature teaching system and has become one of the most developed countries for Chinese language teaching in Europe.This paper first analyzes the overview of Chinese language teaching at the University of Warsaw,designs the overall framework for the survey,and lays the foundation for the survey questionnaire and result analysis.Secondly,this article takes Chinese language education at the Sinology Department of the University of Warsaw as the research object,guided by the theory of Chinese as a second language,adopts questionnaire survey and interview methods to collect data on teaching resources,faculty,curriculum development,textbooks,teaching methods,and teaching evaluation of Chinese language education in Poland,and conducts questionnaire analysis.The analysis includes teaching resources,such as school funding,teaching facilities,and cultural activities;faculty,including quantity and structure,teaching level,and teacher development;curriculum development,including basic setup and implementation effectiveness;textbooks,including selection,use,and applicability;teaching methods,including language elements teaching and teaching method types;and teaching evaluation,including evaluation of student learning outcomes and teacher teaching performance.Finally,through analysis and research,this paper summarizes that the Chinese language education at the University of Warsaw has formed a localized teaching model that emphasizes cultural teaching throughout the teaching process.Its advantages mainly lie in six aspects: abundant teaching resources,strong faculty,highquality curriculum development,excellent textbooks,flexible teaching methods,and a sound system of teaching evaluation.This paper aims to summarize the successful experience of Chinese language education in Poland by studying the Chinese language education at the University of Warsaw,and provide reference data for research on the localization of Chinese language education worldwide.
